I’m sorry to post an OOC post like this but it had to be done. I am so sick of hate anon popping up everywhere. This makes me absolutely sick. I’ve been a victim of bullying and cyberbullying before and its WRONG.
HOW DARE YOU. First of all- cyberbullying is wrong. Sending shit like that IS WRONG. And honestly????/ WHY? What did that person EVER do to you? Don’t ever send shit like that to someone. EVER.
To anyone sending hate to an RPer: WE DO THIS FOR FUN. Some of us don’t have pleasant situations, RP is fun, its an escape! YOU don’t have to follow us, YOU don’t have to watch us if you don’t like us, and YOU certainly don’t have to threaten us. YES- we appreciate feedback on our characters, but only when we ask for it. However- telling someone they should kill themself IS NOT feedback, it is bullying and slander.
How could you honestly tell another person to take their own LIFE?
Let me tell you something- I had a friend commit suicide a few months back and it was TRAUMATIZING. Nobody knew he was struggling with depression because he never talked about it. He chose to suffer in silence. He was found by his family. His choice to take his life didn’t just effect him. His family suffered greatly, and still do. His friends were shocked and hurt. EVEN THOSE WHO DIDN’T KNOW HIM SUFFERED. I didn’t even know him that well and it was devastating.
EVERY HUMAN LIFE IS VALUABLE.
When you send things like “go die” to people- you never know what exactly they are going through. YES- some people can brush it off. BUT THAT ISN’T EVERYONE. How would you feel if you knew you were responsible for someone’s death? Think about it. I’ve seen so many friends who still struggle with my friend’s death because they somehow feel responsible.
Maybe you won’t understand until you’ve seen it happen or been through it. But I’m begging you- PLEASE make it stop. Its not funny. Its NOT okay and it certainly isn’t right.
I know this isn’t going to stop people from doing it. I know its not, but please- THINK. What if it happened to you? What if it was your sister, or brother, or best friend? Can you even imagine how hard that would be? Words have a powerful effect. Choose them carefully.))
